A leading member of the National Democratic Congress in the Ketu South Constituency, Sylvanus Yao Amedorme, has expressed profound appreciation to residents who participated in the party’s recent registration exercise held and ended on 31st March 2026.

In a message to constituents, Mr. Amedorme specifically commended all eligible members—particularly those aged 18 years and above—who turned out in their numbers to register, describing their participation as a strong indication of renewed grassroots commitment and political awakening within the constituency.

According to him, the successful exercise marks the beginning of a new and transformative phase for the party, driven by a crop of dedicated executives focused on reviving, strengthening, and uplifting the NDC at the grassroots level. He emphasized that the renewed energy within the party reflects a collective determination to rebuild structures and reposition the NDC for future electoral success.

Mr. Amedorme further used the opportunity to formally unveil his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman of the NDC in Ketu South. He noted that his decision is rooted in a strong desire to serve, unite party members, and champion development-oriented leadership that prioritizes inclusivity and effective mobilization.

He called on party delegates and supporters to rally behind his vision when the time comes in December 2026, expressing confidence that with collective effort, the party can achieve greater unity and electoral victory.

Mr. Amedorme is urging continued engagement and active participation among members, from the national and region to the constituency’s wards and zones, stressing that the strength of the NDC lies in its grassroots base and the unwavering commitment of its people.

He also used the occasion to extend warm wishes to Ghanaians and Christians across the country on the celebration of Easter. He urged citizens to reflect deeply on the significance of the Passover season, emphasizing that the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should inspire all to embrace God’s love, forgiveness, and unity.
According to him, the spiritual essence of the season serves as a reminder for individuals and communities to renew their faith, promote peace, and strengthen bonds of compassion for national development.
