Founder of Maranatha Power Ministries International, Bishop Noble Francis Afotey Odai, has donated two mechanised boreholes worth GH₵200,000 to the chiefs and people of Kpedze in the Ho West District to improve access to clean and safe water.
The presentation, which coincided with the Bishop’s birthday, formed part of the church’s community development outreach. “We saw the need for water and acted. This is not just a Sunday church — we build schools, clinics, and support communities,” Bishop Afotey Odai said.
Receiving the facility, District Chief Executive Mr. Francis Profer Dusey commended the church for complementing government’s efforts to provide potable water to rural areas. He announced that the District Assembly is currently executing 25 borehole projects, with plans for 42 more from an NGO partnership.

Mr. Dusey urged residents to maintain the new facilities to ensure their sustainability. The ceremony brought together traditional leaders, local officials, and residents who expressed gratitude for the life-changing intervention.
