The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on the chiefs and people in the Ketu South Constituency in the Volta Region to vote massively for the NPP in the December 7, 2024 election.
He said the party, together with the NPP parliamentary aspirant Samuel Wisdom Doe Haligah, would work hard to enhance Ketu South’s development.
Dr Bawumia, who was speaking at Keyiborme Park on Wednesday 23rd October 2024, at mini rally of chiefs, Muslim communities and people of Ketu South as part of his ‘Possibilities’ tour of the Volta Region, took time to respond to some concerns put before him by the traditional leaders and promise to tackle them accordingly.
He also shared his vision with the people, including the introduction of flat-rate taxes, the elimination of passport applications and the training of a million youth in digital skills to create employment for the youth.
He said the roads in the area would be attended to under the District Road Improvement Projects (DRIP)

Dr. Bawumia express his confidence and trust in good people of Ketu South to win the 7th December Poll 2024, and admornished Ketu South to Patten their vote for development only. That Politics is in for development and Ketu South can not be taking for a play.
Dr Bawumia urged the good people to rally behind him and their son Petit Haligah (Samuel Wisdom Doe Haligah) since that was the only means through which he could help meet the requests Ketu South.

The NPP Parliamentary aspirant, Samuel Wisdom Doe Haligah, reminded the people that the NPP had since the era of former President John Agyekum Kufuor been supportive of the area in terms of the provision of development projects.

He further outlined some projects initiated by the NPP in the constituency that included roads, Fire Service Administration office, Roads in Municipality, Store Rooms,many classrooms, a clinic and appealed to the chiefs and people to support him and Dr Bawumia to continue with the good works
