The DEI Foundation, led by Mrs. Xornam Favour Ignatius-DEI, has donated 74 school uniforms and 12 school bags to pupils of Aveyibome M/A Basic School as part of its commitment to promoting education and reducing the burden on vulnerable families.

The donation exercise, held on Thursday, 26th February 2026, forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian and educational support programmes aimed at improving school attendance, boosting learners’ confidence, and enhancing academic performance among children in deprived communities.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Xornam Favour Ignatius-DEI, PRO of the DEI Foundation, noted that education remains a powerful tool for national development, stressing the need for collective support to ensure that no child is left behind due to lack of basic school needs.

“Our goal is to support children to stay in school, learn with confidence, and build a brighter future. These uniforms and bags are small but meaningful steps towards empowering our young learners,” she stated.

Teachers and school authorities expressed gratitude to the Foundation, describing the gesture as timely and impactful, especially for pupils from low-income households.

Parents and community members also commended the DEI Foundation for its generosity and appealed for sustained support to improve educational outcomes in the area.

The DEI Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to community development, education, and child welfare, urging individuals, organizations, and partners to support similar initiatives across the country.
