The Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu South, Nicholas Worclachie has outlined key development priorities and ongoing projects within the municipality during an interview on Holy FM 98.5, monitored by News Volta.
Speaking on the program, the MCE disclosed that the assembly has, since the beginning of the year, initiated new projects and commenced the mobilization of materials to support their implementation.
He emphasized the role of the Ghana Electronic Procurement System in improving transparency and efficiency in procurement processes at the assembly level.
According to him, the system is helping to:

- Ensure accountability in public spending
- Reduce delays in project execution
- Strengthen confidence in local governance
Hon. Worclachie also touched on efforts to address challenges in the education sector, particularly the need to reduce pressure on classrooms and improve access to teaching and learning materials.
He assured residents that ongoing projects will help enhance school infrastructure and learning conditions across the municipality.
The MCE reaffirmed the NDC and President Mahama’s commitment to delivering on its mandate, noting that strategic planning and efficient resource use remain central to achieving development goals.

He indicated that project valuations could run into millions of cedis, stressing the need for credible companies and strict oversight to guarantee value for money.
The MCE assured residents that the Assembly remains committed to transparent and efficient project implementation, in line with national development goals.
