The Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has led a digital education initiative aimed at improving access to technology and learning resources in schools across the constituency.
The intervention follows a partnership with Friends of Adaklu, which challenged the MP to provide computers while the organization supplies Starlink internet connectivity to beneficiary schools.
With support from her bankers, Hon. Gomashie secured 50 computers, distributing five each to nine schools and one library in Klikor.
During a ceremony at Agavedzi, the NGO officially handed over Starlink equipment to the selected institutions and committed to providing one year of internet data to support teaching and learning.

The initiative is expected to enhance:
- ICT education and digital literacy
- Access to online learning resources
- Research and academic performance among students
In addition, the NGO launched a new literacy initiative dubbed “The Sea Works at Night”, targeted at coastal communities.
As part of the project, library books were donated to support reading culture and expand educational opportunities for students.
The project marks a significant step toward bridging the digital divide in Ketu South, particularly in underserved coastal areas.
