A sod-cutting ceremony will be held on Friday , February 6, 2026, to officially commence the ongoing construction of a two-storey office complex for the Ketu South Municipal Health Directorate.
The ceremony will be led by Torgbui Tenuvi II, known in private life as Mr. Felix Akonta Akakpo, a philanthropist and native of the municipality from Leta-Wute, whose support has been instrumental toward the realisation of the project.
The event is expected to attract high-level dignitaries, including the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, the Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu South, Hon. Nicholas Worklachie, and the Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbuiga Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V. Also expected to grace the ceremony is the Volta Regional Director of Health Services, Dr. Emmanuel Atsu Dodor, alongside traditional leaders, health officials, and members of the Municipal Assembly.
