Of Weta Traditional Area Torgbuiga Akpo Ashiakpor VI further said there is the need to always be guided by our sacrifices and valour of our ancestors to bring Weta Traditional Area thus far and take a rightful position among traditional authorities in Ghana, if only we put the past behind us and forge a path of unity and togetherness. Let us avoid unnecessary division and units our progress as one people and Somé . For the only hope now is build a united front in readiness to face the future with hope.
For it is truism when we say “ati ȡeka mewͻ ne ave o” to wit, a single tree cannot make a forest. It is equally true when we say “asiȡeka melea todzo o” (one hand cannot catch a buffalo).
Coming together is beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is
success – Henry Ford.
Undoubtedly, unity is something to yearn for, to endeavor to possess, but it cannot be willed by mere rhetoric.
That we must all state without equivocation that unity is not the absence of disagreements, but a consensus to agree to work
together.
The truth therefore remains that we can’t get united by ignoring the questions that we
have faced” Torgbuiga he add.
Weta Traditional Area is blessed with enormous resources, the greatest of which is the human resource.
