Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho Central Constituency, Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has unveiled a fully funded scholarship program for postgraduate studies in the sciences. The initiative, which covers tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses, is designed to promote academic excellence and nurture a new generation of skilled professionals from the constituency.
According to Hon. Kpotosu, the scholarship is open to students who have completed their first degree and wish to pursue Master’s or Doctoral studies in science-related fields at accredited Ghanaian universities. Beneficiaries will also receive stipends to support their daily living during the study period.
Reaffirming his dedication to education, the MP highlighted his ongoing support programs — including the distribution of textbooks and the “Go to School” initiative, which provides new school uniforms to replace worn-out ones. These interventions, he said, are aimed at boosting students’ confidence and motivation to stay in school.
“Education remains the foundation of progress. By investing in our youth, we are investing in the future of Ho Central,” Hon. Kpotosu stated, adding that the scholarship and educational initiatives are part of a broader plan to uplift the constituency through knowledge and skill development.
