The Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu South, Nicholas Worclatsi, has provided updates on several ongoing and upcoming development projects in the municipality, with a strong focus on infrastructure and sanitation.
According to the MCE, a number of projects are at advanced stages. An equipment-related project is about 75% complete, the Midship Leadership Project is nearing completion at 90%
Work is ongoing on the Dodorkofe CHPS compound, including two semi-detached nurses’ quarters, Education Infrastructure
The Assembly is also preparing to expand educational facilities. Construction of two-unit Kindergarten (KG) blocks is scheduled to begin in MAY.
Plans are underway for a three-unit Junior High School classroom block
On sanitation, the MCE disclosed that the Assembly has acquired 20 acres of land for the development of a landfill site in the Ketu South Municipality.
He noted that improving waste management remains a top priority, as the Assembly works to address sanitation challenges and promote a cleaner environment.
Hon. Nicholas Worclachie reaffirmed the Assembly commitment to ensuring that all projects are completed with quality, transparency, and efficiency, to improve living conditions for residents
