NDC Registration Drive: Sylvanus Amedorme Urges Ketu South Residents to Enroll and Shape Party Future

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is currently undertaking a nationwide membership registration exercise aimed at strengthening its grassroots structures and preparing for future political activities.

The exercise, which commenced on February 10, 2026, is expected to end on March 30, 2026, and is being conducted at branch levels across the country to register new members and update the party’s database.

In the Ketu South Constituency, Constituency Chairman Hopeful Sylvanus Yao Amedorme has thrown his weight behind the exercise, calling on all eligible residents to take advantage of the opportunity.

Speaking in a brief interview with News Volta, Mr. Amedorme stressed that registering with the party is a crucial step toward active political participation and community development.

“When you are a registered member, you are not just a supporter—you become part of the decision-making process that shapes the future of the party and the country,” he stated.

He explained that membership offers several key benefits, including the right to vote in internal elections, contribute to policy discussions, and serve in various leadership roles within the party.

According to him, a strong and active membership base is essential for building unity, strengthening grassroots mobilization, and ensuring that the party remains connected to the needs of the people.

“This is the time for every committed and forward-looking citizen to be part of a stronger grassroots movement. Let us come together to build a united and vibrant NDC in Ketu South,” he added.

Mr. Amedorme further encouraged all individuals aged 18 years and above in the constituency to visit their nearest branch registration centers before the deadline to enroll.

The ongoing exercise forms a key part of the NDC’s broader strategy to deepen participation, empower its base, and position the party for future success.
