Speaking at the presentation ceremony to donate street lights to the Three Town Senior High School in the Ketu South Constituency the NPP’s parliamentary candidate Petti Haligah admonished students to see the Free Senior High School policy being implemented by the NPP government as a great opportunity for them to acquire life-changing education.
He also advised them to be disciplined and make education their priority. Because getting access to education in the past was difficult but with determination and self-discipline many had the opportunity, and now as heroes and heroines serving the country and other nations.
“Education in the past was very difficult, but those who were determined and self-disciplined were able to make it. You have free SHS which makes access to Education easy so you have to make good use of it. The free SHS Policy Removes Cost Barriers through the absorption of fees approved by GES council by this very NPP government”, Haligah stated.
Meanwhile, the NPP’s PC Petit Haligah urged all the Ghanaian Children to be serious with their Senior High School certificate because it
Serves as a foundation for further improving educational levels after nine years of compulsory education . That the Senior High School Program is to prepares students for college by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge also a leading road to future professions either to military, doctors and nursings, teacher even a professional carpenter.
