Somè senior High School and Klikor Senior High Technical School of Ketu South Municipal received donations of 40 pieces of street lights, from the parliamentary candidate for NPP the New Patriotic Party Petit Haligah, as far as security measures go, the basic security lighting, being one of the most cost effective solutions to, reducing crime and protecting properties.
Interacting with Volta Forum GH the students share their joy and excitement towards the donation saying
“we are very grateful about this exterior Lighting on our campuses, for this will facilitate our studies in the night hours also checks and prevent some immoral conduct from some of our friends and school mates.

The school authorities express their satisfaction towards the initiative by the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Mr Petit Haligah for donating to Somé Senior High School (Sosec ) and Klikor Senior High Technical School (Klistech ), the LED Street Lights to be installed on their campuses. Adding that If potential criminals were to approach our educational property, and be illuminated by bright lights, the chances are that they would leave the area quickly, and be pretty worried about being caught because of Street Lights.
“Exterior lighting is an essential part of every high school grounds. If done right, it provides the students, staff, and surrounding neighbors with safety, security, and peace of mind,” school authorities added.
