From the Grassroots Up: Asiedu Nketiah Rekindles NDC’s Promise of Inclusive Growth in Ketu South

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fulfilling its development promises to Ghanaians, assuring that the NDC remains focused on delivering tangible results across the country.

Speaking during his Thank You Tour in the Ketu South Constituency on Friday, October 17, 2025, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah expressed gratitude to the people of Ketu South for their continued loyalty and overwhelming support for the NDC and its flagbearer, now President John Dramani Mahama.

He noted that the NDC is determined to accelerate Ghana’s development through inclusive and people-centered policies that create jobs, improve infrastructure, and expand opportunities for young people.

“The NDC’s vision is to drive real and inclusive growth that benefits every Ghanaian. We are committed to building an economy that provides jobs, supports small businesses, and strengthens local development,” Mr. Asiedu Nketiah stated.

The National Chairman praised the Ketu South Constituency Executives, led by Bright Solomon Kumordzi, for their dedication and organizational efforts, urging them to maintain close engagement with residents to ensure the party remains connected to the grassroots.

He described his visit as both a renewed sign of accountability and a demonstration of the NDC’s commitment to its base, adding that the tour aims to reconnect with communities, assess ongoing projects, and gather feedback that will inform the party’s policy agenda.

“We are here to listen to our people and ensure that their concerns are reflected in our policies. The NDC believes governance must begin from the grassroots—it is the heartbeat of our democracy,” he said.

Mr. Asiedu Nketiah reiterated that the NDC, under the leadership of John Mahama, is prepared to restore hope and confidence in Ghana’s development trajectory through effective governance, transparency, and a renewed focus on national progress.
