Free SHS: NPP Believes Ghana Must Be Educated And Be A Literate Society -Petit Haligah

For not only increasing access to education, through the free senior high school policy which also futurely has a positive impact on our economy. The Ketu South NPP’s PC Samuel Wisdom Doe Haligah known as Petit Haligah said that the New Patriotic Party believes, Ghana must be educated and be a Literate Society.

Speaking to Volta Forum GH, he elaborate that the literacy rate of a country affects its economic development greatly and the more literate citizens a country has, the greater is its economic development. People who are literate can more easily develop skills that will help them in the workplace and will help them find, crate and keep jobs.

Petit Haligah continue by saying the Free SHS policy implemented by NPP government is not just
by eliminating the financial burden on parents, but to able to invest in the human Capital of our next generational Ghanaian, those who can collectively manage our rich resources devoid of Partizan politics, human Capital is a contributing factor to the overall development of the country.
That the NPP’s Free SHS policy is Literacy intervention program, a long term policy to turn the economy fortunes of Ghana from ten years to come.

” Although the final decision is up to you, you can start your future off strongly by using your Senior high school Certificate or the Knowledge acquired a SHS level as your foundation to expand hence adding more values to our country’s per Capita income that contribute to Ghana’s GDP.” Petit Haligah added.
