Samuel Wisdom Doe Haligah the parliamentary candidate for NPP in Ketu South constituency, has urged people of Ketu South to rise above ethnicity and parochial interests and vote for New Pertrotic Party the only political party that is capable of pursuing policies that would enhance the socio-economic and political development of the country, in the Election 2004.
Speaking at a Community gathering this week at Teshie-Avedzi -Aflao, Samuel Wisdom Doe Haligah, reminds the constituents that from 1992 elections till date the NDC Party failed to demonstrate the full ability to bring development to the constituency, hence they only mocked us and call Ketu South NDC World Bank.
“Now if you compare current state of Ketu South constituency to other constituency in Ghana from 1992 to their current status, we all can sincerely, testify that Ketu South Constituency is under development. NDC failed to bring and ensure that Ketu South also get some portion of equitable distribution of Ghana’s wealth and national development, but NPP does mostly by bringing pivotal development projects to Ketu South.
Wisdom Haligah called on the constituents not allowed NDC, to appeal to their emotions and sentiments in their bid to win power, for political parties are to educate the people on topical national issues, their rights and civic responsibilities and how political parties were obliged to ensure peace, unity and stability and to mobilise the people for development. All these, are what the NPP party keeps on doing whenever we are in government, NPP always enlightened the thinking scope of Ghanaian through the spirit of possibility ” IT IS POSSIBLE “
